Pastor's Weekly Update

A Must Read!

Posted by John Repsold on with 0 Comments

Don’t think this communique is for SOMEONE ELSE.  It’s not.  It’s for YOU…yes…YOU who are deciding right now whether or not to skip what else I have to say of keep reading.  (My vote is that you keep reading.)

The first stage of our planned summer move is coming up this Saturday morning, May 30, at 9:00 a.m.   Complete with donuts and coffee, we’ve got probably a ton (literally) of church equipment that will need to be moved out this weekend.  Can we count on YOU?

We need to hear from at least 12-20 people who can give us no more than a couple of hours to help move everything out of our storage closets in the basement and our ground floor adjacent room and into another storage area.  For those of you who may not be part of one of the weekly ministries of Mosaic, I challenge you to lend a hand with this one-time need.

We must hear of your commitment before Friday afternoon so we know whether or not we need to hire help.  So if you can assist on Saturday morning, please go to www.facebook.com/events/666862336747822/ to sign up for the move.  I’m sure you’ll love the picture we’ve put there about moving too!

UPCOMING FUN

On Sunday, June 7th, we’ll all be heading to Manito Park at 1:00 p.m. (after the second service) to enjoy a little food, fun and fellowship potluck with our recent graduates from high schools and colleges.  We have a group of about a dozen who we hope will be able to be with us as we want to honor them and pray them off into their new futures.  So plan to bring some food and come for what promises to be a beautiful and blessed Sunday afternoon at Manito in God’s great green creation.

Speaking of Sunday, I’ll be in Galatians 2 in our Freedom series in Paul’s first letter to his churches if you want to read ahead.  See you on Saturday and/or Sunday to live and celebrate our great God and Lord Jesus Christ!
