Our annual Bloomsday rescheduling is upon us this weekend!

In place of our regular Sunday morning services we will be having one Saturday night POTLUCK & PRAISE time from 5:00-7:00p.m. at Second Space.  We’re planning a great time of fellowship around tables, food, music and the Word of God.  So fix one of your favorite potluck items, bring it at 5:00 tomorrow and watch what God will do around dinner with us.

One further opportunity that is time-sensitive.

Many of you may have heard of the Gold Star Families in our annual Armed Forces Lilac Festival Torchlight Parade. If you’re not familiar with this amazing group, they are the family members and friends of those military men and women from our area who have given their lives in defense of our nation in what has become the longest war in American history, that of Iraq and Afghanistan. Each Torchlight Parade, friends, family and people who just want to honor these amazing heroes and their families march together carrying the picture and name of one of the fallen. 

            Gold Star Families are always in need of additional volunteers who will carrying the pictures and names of their loved ones for families who cannot.  If you would like to be a part of this amazing experience honoring our bravest and best, please contact Menesia Spade by this Monday, May 4^th at or by calling her at our church phone at 747-3007. 

Finally, please keep praying for our relocation need.  There are several possibilities but much work still to be done before we must move in either June or, at the latest, August.  Welcome to another level of learning what it means to walk by faith.
