What a great weekend God has given us to enjoy liberty in Christ and in America. As you celebrate with friends and family, I hope you will include at least one of the following in your festivities.
MOSAIC this SUNDAY:
Daniel 9--If you like math, you’re going to love this Sunday. If you don’t, bring a friend who does! Seriously, you don’t have to be a math wiz to appreciate some of God’s most amazing divine math in the scriptures. In fact, Sir Isaac Newton, regarded as one of the most influential mathematicians of all time, believed that we could stake the truth of Christianity on the prophetic passage in Daniel we’ll be looking at on Sunday. Come enjoy the Lord God together this wonderful Fourth of July weekend at Mosaic.
A GOOD LISTEN:
Speaking of Independence Day, one of our Mosaic Fellowship members sent me a link to a very moving and spiritual montage by late President Ronald Reagan about the importance of prayer, of the Bible and of Jesus Christ to the fabric of America. I don’t usually pass along things like this but this one is well worth the less than five minutes it takes to watch it. Go to http://www.youtube.com/embed/OvN1jTkzXbY?rel=0
A GREAT WEEK TO SERVE:
What better way to be both patriotic and Christian than to serve our fellow Americans in need? This week we have two opportunities to do that:
- Tuesday night at Cup of Cool Water at 6:30 at 1106 W 2nd Ave. downtown.
- Saturday night, June 13, at City Gate at 6:30 at 170 S Madison St. downtown.
Please let me know if you are planning to serve this week. We need at least 5 people at each event to be able to open up and serve dozens of people this week. Text or call me at 710-8026 or email me at
.
God bless you…and God bless the United States of America!
Pastor John
