Welcome to spring…and to some fresh showers of God’s blessings. 

Psalm 65:9 & 10 tell us,

            “You [God], visit the earth and water it;

                        You greatly enrich it…

            You water its furrows abundantly,

                        Settling its ridges,

            Softening it with showers,

                        And blessing its growth.”

While this was a particularly dry winter for us here in the Inland Northwest, spring has sprung with a good amount of moist evidence that God is still blessing.  And at Mosaic, we've been seeing some refreshing and surprising blessings of God fall upon us in various areas of ministry.

So what is the right response to God’s blessing, be it in the form of hoped for precipitation or more dramatic things like healings, health, renewal or relational reconciliations?  Well, God lets us choose how we want to thank Him.  God lets us choose whether we want to offer verbal thanks in a prayer or vocal thanks in a song.  He lets us choose to take up the towel of service and do something that blesses others out of our gratitude and He invites us to enter into the sharing of a testimony with someone who may be having a hard time seeing God at work. 

So let me invite you to express your gratitude to God for his abundant blessings this month by participating in one or more of the following “THANK YOU, GOD!” opportunities.

• Wednesday PRAYER & PRAISE from 7-8 p.m. at Mosaic.  We’ve been enjoying rich times of praise and prayer with over a dozen of us every Wednesday evening.  Come hear what God is doing, celebrate Him and intercede for others on this mid-week God-connecting prayer experience.
• Saturday EN CRISTO SERVE @ Whitworth University/The Park Tower, 1-3 p.m.  We are stepping in this Saturday, March 28^th, to take up the slack due to Whitworth University’s Spring Break.  Since the students who normally prepare lunches and serve the residents are gone, we’ve agreed to serve another one of our city-center residential buildings by meeting at Whitworth at 1:00p.m., preparing the food and bringing it back downtown to the Park Towers to hand out door-to-door to the residents.  We need about 8-12 people for this one.  Call me at 710-8026 or email   if you need transportation or more information.
• Saturday CITY-WIDE PRE-EASTER PRAYER SERVICE @ Life Center, 6:30-8:00 p.m.  Come join a broader cross-section of God’s church in Spokane as we pre-pray and pre-praise the coming Holy Week in our city.  Life Center is located at 1202 N Government Way. 
• PALM SUNDAY WORSHIP & PRAISE together with the Mosaic Family at either 9:15 or 11:00 a.m. this week.  We’ll be enjoying the joy of proclaiming the praises of our Savior Jesus and seeing how what He did leading up to Holy Week can change our experience of joy, praise and adoration of our triumphant King Jesus. 
• GOOD FRIDAY (April 3) WORSHIP, REFLECTION, PRAISE & LAST SUPPER @ Mosaic @ 7:00p.m.  Mark your calendars and prepare your hearts for next Friday’s special service as we come together to reflect on the heart and actions of Jesus on that last night before he was crucified for us. 

May everything we do, say, think and ponder these days be a reflection of our hearts of gratitude to our living Lord and God.
