If you had to miss one of the last two Sundays in our experience of The Story, let me encourage you to get on our website and listen to the podcasts for both those Sundays. Two Sundays ago, Eric delivered a powerful and poignant drama from the life of Abraham. Last Sunday we heard an amazing testimony from one of our own men who has walked with our God of the Dark Places in some very dark places. Trust me, you don’t want to miss either one.
This week in our focus on God’s Story in Exodus, we’ll be contemplating some of the Ingredients of Deliverance that the life of Moses brings to us. We are not only people who need continued deliverance. We all know and relate to people every day who need deliverance. Be open to God leading you to invite someone you know to be with His Body, the church, this Sunday as we experience more divine deliverance.
Let me invite everyone to stop by our new Mosaic Community Bike Shop at 611 W. 2nd Ave., just across from where our offices still are in the 2nd Space building. They are open for business and being used already to change the lives of many of our neighbors downtown. And if you have a little time to give to helping them get organized and set up, that would be a great blessing to all. Feel free to contact Doug Porter with any questions or donations you may have ((362-3803).
One final note. We’ve changed the upcoming Pastors’ Dessert to Sunday, October 11 at 6:30 p.m. at the Repsolds' urban ranch. If you’ve never been to one of these desserts OR if you’re new to Mosaic, please feel free to join us and get to know some of the pastoral staff a little better. Maps and directions are available from the check-in table Sundays.
See you soon!
Pastor John
